Shortage of Soloxine

Hi

Soloxine is a thyroid replacement hormone for dogs with hypothyroidism.

I have been sent this information by a member:

There are production problems with Soloxine and it is becoming difficult to obtain.  The advice was to contact vets and try and obtain whilst still possible or possibly consider Forthyron as an alternative BUT this too is becoming difficult to obtain for some reason.

Hi Everyone

I heard yesterday that supplies of Soloxine are not expected to be available until January 2016.  As a result the supplies of Forthyron have been depleted but apparently an online chemist called Chemist Direct now have a stock of Forthyron.
