We recently lost our 3 year old German short hair to IMPA and possible AIHA.  She fought hard for 4 months. We miss her dearly and will never ever forget her zest for life.. Whether chasing birds or napping.. She went at everything whole heartedly. Rip baby girl

I wish so badly that there was more awareness and education on the AI diseases. How many dogs have died from un known causes that were actually AI related?

the link is to a poem called "why dogs dont actually die". Its a great read for any one struggling.

I'm so very sorry you lost Abbie.

I am sure lots of dogs sadly go undiagnosed and slip away without anyone realising what is wrong  :'(  but hopefully it is becoming more known about - for sure CIMDA get more and more enquiries year after year.

Thinking of you at this sad time.
