Thanks for asking Pam,

It's not easy is it?  I'm doing OK some of the time and other times, I'm very tearful.  I know it will get easier - it just takes time doesn't it.

oh Jan I have been off line & only just read about  you losing your beloved YO YO.
He has been a special CIMDA friend for such a long time.

I am so very  sorry. YOU gave him a lovely life and you did what you thought was  best for him always. Sadly , despite our best efforts,  their time   with us  comes to an end and it is just devastating when they must leave us....but what wonderful memories they leave behind  with us.
YOU take care.

Thank you Sylvie,

I'm still having a hard time believing he has gone.   He did so well through the surgery and the first 24 hours.  If I hadn't been a CIMDA member when he had his initial Addisonian Crisis, I'm sure he wouldn't have made it through that.  I'd learnt enough here about Addison's to be pretty sure that was his problem - even when the vet wouldn't believe me.

I had over 12 great years with him and the happy memories far outweigh the sadness of the past couple of weeks.

Have a lovely Christmas.
