Apparently there's been a problem with people being restricted to how much they can post.
I'm just testing this out to see if I can replicate it.....

Administrator

Well, it seemed to like that much.
How about if I paste in a whole load of Lipsum?

It liked that, too.

Jo!! What am I doing wrong right?
And anyone else who's having this problem - when does it occur?

  • Can you write as much as you like in the form?
  • Can you preview it (with the "preview" button")?
  • What happens when you hit "post"?
  • What browser are you using?

Well, I shall try this out, John, on Microsoft Edge. I have not had any problems in the past with posting but usually use Internet Explorer.

I can not seem to preview it.

Going to push "post" now.......

Back on Microsoft Edge. Actually I can preview it....I had not scrolled up..... :-[

Catherine

So all works okay for me, John. I am using a desktop computer if that makes any difference.....?

Administrator

Thanks Catherine. Good to hear that it's not just me that it's working for :) (Screwdriver syndrome!)

Now let's hear from someone who's had problems in the past... Jo? Anyone?

Catherine

Screwdriver syndrome?! We are not allowed to e-mail members on here (confidentiality) but I am in touch with Jo so hopefully she will be back on here soon.

Seems to be still working for me...... :)

Screwdriver syndrome?!

As soon as someone turns up with the means (the metaphorical screwdriver) to fix the problem, the problem goes away... and then returns again when the threat of the screwdriver is removed!

Catherine

Ah, yes, I know that syndrome well..... ;)

I have e-mailed Jo....think everyone has hibernated though. :(

Hi John

Thank you so much for trying to sort this out.  Sorry for the delay in me replying but I had a family thing today.

I will put post something of length, but it does seem to be random, which isn't helpful I know.
