My Bentley was given the news of the diagnosis last Wednesday, put on steroids and 4 other meds.  He died at home yesterday he was only 3 years old.  There should be an automatic test given to all dogs to check their red and white blood cells on every annual.  I had no idea anything was wrong with him.  No signs just a little lethargic.

I am so sorry to hear of your Bentley dying of AI disease. 

If you want to discuss it here then please do.  There are lost of things wrong with modern veterinary medicine and care and yes, perhaps this subject should be discussed here.

It is a terrible shock when a dog so young is taken from us in such sudden and cruel circumstances. 

I am so sorry for your loss.
