Marshall lost his year long battle with immune mediated GME Granulomatous meningoencephalitis on August 5, 2017. He was 6 years old. He suffered most of his life with immune mediated IBD, and another neurological disaease called hyperaethesia. It was also found this past year that he had undiagnosed Hepatic Microvascular Dysplasia, a congenital liver disease where blood vessels are not properly formed and the liver cannot perform its funtion fully. However up until the GME, he was able to manage living fairly healthy. I will never forget how loving and happy he was, even in sickness. Run free chasing all the birds you can.

I am so sorry you have lost Marshall to GME.
It is a very difficult disease to treat but against the odds you gave him another year to be with you. It is so hard when they are taken away from us so young.
