I just wanted to say Thank you. What a fantastic informative group. My girl is just over a year old and has been diagnosed with steroid responsive meningitis. She is now 4 days into her medication and has started to pick up. I'm very hopeful for a full recovery and seeing this site and the support from my vets has been brilliant.

I am so sorry your young girl has SRMA, but the good news is your vet has diagnosed it and treatment has started and already you are seeing an improvement. This is good news.  It is quite amazing how quickly SRMA can respond to the correct dose of steroids.    Take a look at the Michael J Day immunosuppressive drug protocol and check it against the regimen your girl is on. 

Make sure she is on a gastroprotectant too.
